Post Me to the Moon

I tell you that it took a while to find three pictures that so appeal to my eclectic taste that I had to enter them into my blog, and these are of they. I want to thank the people involved in accessorizing my blog this time around. Mainly, the lovely Ms Laura Lu who is in the photo with William and I. None of us look the best, but she certainly put forth the silliest of the faces. Thank you Lenore for giving up the photo. We share the special gift of a great smile. I also want thank Matthew who stated that he had only seen me eat salad once. This was right before I went to Chicago area this week, so I have eaten literally 13 meals in the last 7 days containing a salad of greens, and such. I want to thank Paula for this wonderful photo bonus of my green eating at her mother's Birthday dinner. Now, as you might have noticed my picture had not been on my blog, yet. But Lenore liked this one of just me smiling by the table, that I wanted it to be in the first run of my photo debut shots. Enjoy the pics.

PS Matthew's Birthday is Sunday, and he will be 31. So, if you would care to send him a email message, or card his address is: mjs64@georgetown.edu--He was the one who was installing our toidy a couple of blog installments ago. Thanks, and have a good weekend.

A "re-pose" for most of those- wait sonnet potential

Mark and Alan wanted a chance to do the mimic of the photo on News Eve. Okay, they were coerced into it, but had a good time doing it. There certainly is the spark of love, and joy, that the couple in the calender have, as well. William posed them as he did Matthew and Shelley. I miss the calender. Although, we do now have the new one up in it's place. I just seemed to have a more intense fondness for the previous one. Then William was doing his Gloria Swan-song move, and I was able to catch that on film. The sunset over the trees was a lucky shot. But beautiful for sure. "Yeah, that's right Charlie." (Sorry, my father just slipped in there) Next is Olga, Stanly, Zita, and Mara at set-up time for Zita's yearly Russian New Years Celebration. It was again a smashing success. Everybody comes to gnosch, drink, and converse. No one should walk away hungry or any less informed on matters of the world. Then, the final photo is that of Shelley and Lorella re-posing the re-pose of William's Gloria picture. hey saw it at the party. They tried, but that essential gene isn't there for the posing Ladies. Anyhow, please, Enjoy the pics.

Old Photo for a 3rd year celebraion.

I had a great 3rd year celebration day. We went out for Dinner at a nice place called Vidalia, and when I came home there was a card on the email from Lenore and Paula that is still playing some sixties easy listening sound as I type this log. I was surprised at my tears this morning when Matthew told me how he and Shelley were proud of me. It is good to hear, but I hate being a marshmallow about it. Lynda put her notice in for me on my blog. Thanks to all, and to all another year of my sobriety. God help us. I think that William was very sweet for giving me the celebration I asked for, Also, Lyla and Tracy have been there for me as well this year. It takes a village and our family is the size of one. Love to all. enjoy the pic.

I wanted to thank this guy in the second picture (Matthew) for spending 5 hours of his day today over our toilet. It was fun having something new to learn while someone else was having the problems. Learn vicariously, I always try to say. We were out walking today (William and I), and I saw how cool the building looked from a distance with the lighting and the clouds as they were. And finally, there is a building at S and New Hampshire that we had gone into the backyard last week with Edvard and we saw this thing by the side of the house. I have no idea what it is, but it was worth taking a picture of, anyway. My 3rd year celebration comes up on the 17th of this month. I am happy to be celebrating it this week. It leads me to a question. How does one make a year seem like 10? Do the year dry. But I am okay with it so far this year. Please be aware that things are better for me than before. I just need to remind myself of that every so often. Speaking of which, getting back to the toilet, it is a good step for our main floor. Now, we just have to put up a door. One day at a time Lord. One day at a time. Enjoy the pics.

the first digital photos-yoohoo

Okay, then. I got it figured out. Here are some of the photos I took at the good old Christmas holiday time. The sister with the curly hair, the back dock sky, the sister in law and their son, and a dark and foreboding sunset. I love the family and God's sky. Of course, you all will see a lot more of sky pictures. And family, as well, I am surrrree. Happy New Year to all, and to all a good leer. Enjoy the pics.

Picture from the Xmas Extravaganza

Here are some of the things I saw on my trip home for the holidays. The first is my favorite. Lenore Sandy and Tommy. Christmas is a time of family and appreciation of that family. It is sad that we have in our Society made it such a commercial venture. How much, how little, how many, how few. Why can't it be more like the little drummer boy? Let's pull out the drum, and play a song that shows our love without being stressed and worried. Now, that being said, I love my new camera. Which I have used, but my ineptness is sadly the way life as far as technology goes. I will get help soon, though. Then you will all be amazed. I heard from Silvija today. She was good to talk to from the past. It is a good story I will have to share somewhere in the near future. Enjoy the pics.
