a few photos and a few shots

Okay these are in no particular order other than the one before the other and that which is after it. I was so afraid I would no be able to get them on today. My weeks have been a bit busy of late. What with all the sales and coupons. What is it with people and the enlarged small print. I know there are more brain cells hitting each other than they present to me at the store's cash register. "Oh, I just printed it off; I didn't really read it" Really? Jesus Christ should come work retail, and see if the souls of men and women that come into the store are really worth all that. I mean he was a carpenter's son, but did her really have to deal with the guys or ladies who Joseph made those chairs for? I think not he left early and started preaching. Amen.
I so appreciate william understanding that for me. I went with matthew to church a couple of weeks ago and the nun sign was too much to refuse to take the picture, and then last wednesday they all went to get ashed while I cooked dinner. It was a good god thing.
There have been more beautiful skies of late, but I can't put them all on the blog. Of course, the "cousin it" glove was for fun, william doesn't quite get it. Ah well.. And the button boxes are my latest face. And next to lastly, the enter-exit sign on the Ross door was so reflective of,.. well, let's leave it at reflective. And finally the jesus walking with those lambs. I guess they felt safe around him. A shout out to Lenore. I hope she is doing well. Love to all, and enjoy the pics.

Swept Away

Okay. I see a winner in our mist. This photo was forwarded to me, and deserves the time on my blog that I will give it. Now, how the occurrence of the idea for this photo came to be, I don't need to know. Nor, who was holding the camera at the time. Enjoy the pic. But not too much, please. She is my sister, after all.

All in a days life

I had these for a little while now on hold. Edvard is on the sofa sleeping next to me, and William is upstairs watching "Rome." I went into work to make sure the store ran well as possible, and what do you know but we indirectly caught three people trying to steal, and at least one person did. I know because I rang her our and she left with a guy whose wife I talked to about rearranging things in our store. She was fidgeting when she was standing in front of me, but I could not really accuse her of having stuffed her pockets, but I will not be a slow sales associate as I was today for tomorrow. It infuriates me that people do this. I am no saint - I have my history, but I learned and try to do right, by most counts. I want to be able to work in peace of mind without the fear of others wrongs, but there before the lord go I and all those words.

Anyway, the photos are that of William and Edvard sliding down the slide. (Edvard loves the slide. He is the little kid.) And the barren bush with yet some red berries. And William modeling his new flannel wear, and finally a sky that was on my phone for a while. Hopefully I haven't already posted it. If so, enjoy the sky again.
Oh yeah, and one of me, that Shelley took, with the Fancy pink pen my sister Laura gave me because some sales associate said I would like it when she was buying a gift for me a while ago. (this, if memory serves me right is true). Enjoy the pics.

leftovers from a restuarant

I forgot I had made the waiter hold a napkin I had written on at the restaurant we ate at twice while I was in East Dundee. The napkins is to validate that I did indeed eat a salad that was the same type salad I had there the day before. Okay, it does validate that it was the same type, but you hopefully understand what I mean. The waiter was wanting the tip, I think, more than the fun, but he certainly did oblige us in the "proofafication" (new word) of the action of me having eaten a salad. Thanks guy and gal (Lenore, that is for taking the picture) Enjoy the pic.
Oh, I have filed my Federal Tax, but not my State ( Yeah, "state" what a joke of a term for us in DC). Hopefully, I will have the return for our cruise. Although, it seems odd that you go to the IRS web sight to go to other sights that are not necessarily secure to put out all the personal info about your financial past year. Hmm? Not so smart, huh? Oh well, when I went to one that said it may not be secure I left that one and went to another. Every now and then we take risks, eh? Now, once again enjoy the pic.

Salad, significant other, and other others.

I just had to share this salad with the viewers. It was my lunch today at Annie's, and then of course, there is the dog and partner on the sofa. Isn't that a special look.

I took today off to do the right thing. You'll know what I am talking about. The forms to print out on line for DC DMV Liscense renewel (cause I am a Diabetic), Gov't IRS Tax forms, Doctor's set up referrals and all that stuff that keeps me a legal citizen of the Frickin' UUU SSS OF AAAA, Baby. Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' bout. Dig. Whew, I'm glad I was able to share that.
I have to say as crazy as it gets pushing prompt buttons after prompt buttons, there was only one jerk at the eye doctors office. Everybody else was sweet. Especially my girl Ellen at my Primary Care office. She is my referral queen. I need to do something nice for her on Friday. Not sure what, but I will take suggestions. Love and peace people. I certainly try to share it. Enjoy the pics.

A B day, a past day, and a new day

It is Matthews BDay today so I thought the other day when he left his wallet at the house, instead of taking his cash I would take his ID pictures and put them on the blog. Happy Bday Matthew. I also had this picture of Kim from our Sunday in Chicago. We went to the Art Institute which was very pleasant. They hadn't put the helmets on the lions outside yet.

And hey, hey! A shout out to a new girl in the local area. Ms Yvonne Dunn of Macon, Valdosta, and soon-to-be-world traveling fame, has just moved into Mannasas VA. We are sure glad her "hineyness" made her way up this far, but yet still stayed this side of the Mason Dixon Line. I will never forget going to see The Producers with her in Valdosta GA. There were a bunch of high school and college kids jammin down, but we were the cool ones in the middle. And when they sang, "I Love Lucy" I thought Yvonne was going to die of joy. Welcome girl, it's good to have you here. Enjoy the pics.
